Cycle Billing Procedures

Back Office Overview Information Guide ->

Two approaches have been developed to handle high and low volumes of contract billing.
Select either the Low Volume approach or the High Volume approach, based on the number of contracts to be monthly (or 28 days) billed:

Low Volume:
If your firm has 30 or fewer contracts which require monthly or 28 day billing, the low volume approach for cycle billing would best suit your firm.
The low volume approach has the staff individually select the contract for monthly or 28 day billing, handling the billing on a contract by contract basis.
Refer to Low Volume Billing for more information.

LOW VOLUME STEPS

1) Contracts

2) Cycle Bill A Single Contract  - Standard Version
Print Invoice   (if a second copy is required)

3) Daily Close 1
   Daily Close 2
   Daily Close 3

High Volume:
If your firm has more than 30 contracts which require monthly or 28 day billing, the high volume approach is better suited to your firm.
The high volume approach automates the billing, by producing an Edit Report of contracts to be billed. Once you have approved the Edit Report, the billing proceeds without further staff involvement.
Refer to High Volume Billing for more information.
