Firefox Version Patch

If your firm is having version issues with a Web App or Open Client in a Firefox browser, this may be caused by the version checking in Open Client confusing Firefox 20 with Firefox 2.

Note: Firefox is not a supported browser for PROIV version 10.
 Please use Chrome or Edge.

To resolve this:

•Download and install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/

•After Firefox reboots, select Tools->Default User Agent->Edit User Agents

•Click on New, and select New User Agent:

•Edit the User Agent string, and change 20.0 to 19.0, and save it.

•Enter a description of Firefox 19.0, and click OK to save.

•Then select Tools->Default User Agent->Firefox 19.0 so that firefox reports itself as version 19.0.

•Re-open the Web App or Open Client to test.
