SCREEN LAYOUT
 Texada SRM uses a uniform layout of information on each screen.
 

Icons in the toolbar at the top of the GUI screen indicate the screen mode including Add, Change, Delete, Lookup.
 The mode is also displayed on the status bar at the bottom of the GUI screen.

The operator code currently signed in is displayed on the bottom left of each menu screen.

The function name is displayed on the status bar at the bottom right on the GUI screen.

SCREEN SYMBOLS
 The following GUI indicators are used to provide additional information:

A "Magnifying Glass" on the button indicates that a search window is available on the field, so the operator can either click on the button or press <F4> to open the window, to lookup and select a record.

An arrow pointing down on a button indicates that a drop-down list is provided on that field, so the operator can either click on the button or press <F4> to view and select from available choices.

Three dots on a button indicates that there is more related information is available in a window on the field, so the operator can either click on the button or press <F4> to open the window.

In a paging screen when the records in the table can be expanded to display more information, the EXP/CON button at the bottom of the screen is active.
 Click on the EXP/CON button or press <F9> Expand Key, to view the additional fields, normally hidden from view.
 To return to normal screen display, click the EXP/CON button again or press <F9> Expand Key again.

Click on the icon to to drill down to related settings for the field.

The People icon indicates that there are parent/child relationships.

An Envelope icon indicates the ability to send an email to the address listed beside the icon.

DATA OUTPUT
 

An Inquiry is a request to display the information on the screen, without hardcopy output.

A Report or a List will output the information to a device, such as a document, browser, printer, or a spreadsheet.
 A printer can be selected from the Printer option located on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Many reports provide the option to output to an Excel spreadsheet.
 A default preference can be defined by operator in Operators.
