SRM Software includes many data update utilities that can be used to import an external data file, if it is in a tab-delimited format.
 When the Client is installed, templates for these import files are either downloaded into the SCSBIN\Templates directory on the workstation, or can be created from the corresponding import utility with or without being populated with existing data.
 The templates can be used to determine the format and requirements of the tab-delimited data file in preparation for importing.

Many of these templates are for use in loading startup data using Data Import or Import/Export Selected Data.
 Other templates can be used to load additional data records, such as in Miscellaneous Journals, Standard Journals and Import Budgets or to update a specific data field throughout a file such as in Import Product Replacement Costs, Import Min/Max Inventory Quantities, or Restructure Class/Group/Rates/Tag.
