Reset A/P Recurring Batch Code

The software prevents two people from posting the A/P recurring invoices for the same batch at the same time, by setting an internal flag when the first person accesses the posting program. If the first person does not exit the posting program normally, (i.e. improper exit due to power failure, etc.), then the post flag may not have been properly reset to allow the next person to proceed.

The record locking warning displays the Batch Code, the operator name, and date and time of initial access.
 Check with that user to confirm he is not still running a legitimate posting of Post Recurring Invoices before proceeding to clear the lock.
 Note: If multiple operators have become locked, only the first is identified in the warning message.

This utility will reset the internal flag, so that the posting program can be run. Before running this utility, be sure to check all other workstations and multi-screens to ensure that no one else is running or Post Recurring Invoices .

Note: This utility does not clear Oracle Database Locks. The operator must exit the screen and file.
