Aged A/R Summary - Selected

This report is intended to be a collection tool for the Accounts Receivable clerk.
 Accounts over a certain dollar amount, or over 60 days or over 90 days can be identified for focus when collecting on delinquent accounts.
 After the accounts are selected, the accounts print out the totals based on the current status of the account.

This report uses the same print format as Aged A/R Summary.
 A summary by customer and a summary by division are generated.
 The prompts are:

REPORT TYPE

Select one of the following reporting options:

Select Prior Date to generate the Aged A/R Report using the prior date formula as outlined in Aged A/R Summary.
 This option might be slightly slower, however it is more accurate for result as of a cut-off date other than today.

Select Current Selected to generate the Aged A/R Report as of today with the options to select the customer accounts by cut-off date and amount as outlined below.

CUT-OFF DATE

This date determines the ending point for printing invoices.
 Accept today's date for the cut-off date or enter a preferred cut-off date.

NOTE: Invoices or payments posted after the aging date will not print and are not included in the Totals.

AGE AS OF MONTH END

Aging refers to the classification of the unpaid invoices according to Current, 31-60, 61-90 and Over 90 days.

Check this box to age the account using the current month end.
 e.g. If the current month end was February 28th, an invoice issued January 31st would be aged as 31-60 Days (with the rest of January invoices).

Uncheck this box to age the invoices according to invoice date.
e.g. If the month end was Feb 28th, an invoice dated Jan. 31st would be Current (with invoices dated 30 days or less).

SELECTED CUT-OFF DATE

To select accounts that have amounts owing over 60 days, type in a cut-off date of 60 days ago.
 e.g. If today is Dec 31st, type in Oct 31st.

To select accounts based on a dollar amount only, accept today as the selected cut-off date.

STARTING NAME

Leave this field blank to include all customers, or enter the first few characters of the starting customer name, or select the customer from the Document Customer Search window.

ENDING NAME

Leave this field blank to include all customers, or enter the first few characters of the ending customer name, or select the ending customer from the window.

CURRENCY CODE

Check this box for all currencies.

Uncheck this box to specify a single currency.

CODE

Enter a currency code or select one from the drop-down list as setup in Currency Codes.

DIVISION, "ALL" OR "SEL"

Type ALL to include all divisions in the report.

To print the report for a single division, leave this field blank for the Head Office Division, or enter a specific division code, or select a division from the drop-down list.

Type SEL to select several specific divisions or divisions by customer region to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.

DIVISION TO USE

Select one of the following division source options:

Select Customer to print the report by the division assigned to the customer in Customer Information.

Select Invoice to print the Aged A/R Summary by the division on each Invoice.

CUT-OFF AMOUNT

Accept the default value displayed to choose the accounts according to the selected cut-off date only.

To select accounts based on dollar amount, type in the minimum amount,
 e.g. To select only accounts that are over $200.00, type in 200.00 for Cut-Off Amount.

If the Selected Cut-Off Date is NOT today's date, then this program will combine both the Selected Cut-Off Date and the Cut-Off Amount when choosing the accounts.
 e.g. If the Selected Cut-off Date was 60 days ago and the cut-off amount was $200.00, then only accounts which have $200.00 or more over 60 days will be printed.

ALL TYPES

Check this box to include all types of customer.

Uncheck this box to select a specific Customer Type.

CUSTOMER TYPE

Enter a Type or select one from the drop-down list as setup in Customer Types.

REPORT OPTIONS

This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in Operators.
 Select one of the output options to Print a report or export the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.

Finished?

Click the ACCEPT button to generate the output, or CANCEL to abort.
