Province/State Codes

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> System Tab -> General Settings -> Province/State Codes

This table can be used to maintain the Province and State codes used in addresses.
 An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the System - Country Codes in order to access this table.

Note: When the Vertex tax feature is activated from the Company Taxing Parameters the descriptions for standard provinces and states will automatically be set, and any manual overrides will be lost.
 The Province/State/Region Codes utility can also be used to validate and add state or province codes in this table.

The prompts are:

SEQ

Accept the system assigned sequence number that is used to track the records in this file.

CODE

Enter the valid state, province, territory, or district code up to a maximum of 5 alpha/numeric characters.
 

DESCRIPTION

Enter the name or description of the state, province, territory, or district.
