Estimated Billing

Accounts Receivable Menu -> Customer Site Information -> Estimated Billing window ->

This estimated budget is related to Job Costing which can be enabled in the Company Posting Parameters to track revenues and expenses related to this site.

This window can be used to record any estimated budget amounts for this site by Cost Code.
 The budgeted amount is then displayed in the Actual Billing window for each Customer Site Information.
 For more information on this feature refer to Job Costing Overview.

The fields include:

COST CODE

Select the Cost Code from the drop-down list as setup in Job Cost Codes.

DESCRIPTION

This is the Cost Code description.

QUANTITY

Enter the quantity of this Cost Code required for the job.

BUDGET TOTAL

This total is the Unit Rate as set in the Job Cost Codes, times the Quantity defined above.
 The Budget Total can be over-typed as required.

The Budget Total is then displayed in the Actual Billing window for this Cost Code for this site.
