Printer Cancel Commands

** This utility is under development and is not yet available. **

This option contains the system commands needed to cancel spooled LINUX printers. It must be setup before using Cancel Printer Jobs. The prompt are:

NUMBER OF PRINTERS

Enter the number of printers on your system.

LIST PRINT JOBS COMMAND

Enter the system command to list the print jobs currently queued.
 e.g. lpstat -o;echo

PRINTER NAME

Enter the technical system name for the printer.
 e.g. system, serial_2

CANCEL COMMAND

Enter the system command to cancel the printer. Examples include:

•To cancel "system" printer, use the command: cancel system;echo

•To cancel "serial_2" printer, use the command: cancel serial_2;echo

FINISHED?

Press ACCEPT Key to reach the bottom of the screen.

ACCEPT OR / CANCEL

Press <ENTER> to proceed or / to cancel.
