New GEOCode

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Accounting Tab -> Accounts Receivable -> Tax Codes -> ADVANCED button -> Tax Codes By GEOCode -> ADD -> New GEOCode

This window can be used as a mask to define a new geographic location for use in calculating taxes.
 The GEOCode is usually comprised of a code for the Province or State, the County, and the City.

Click CANCEL to enter a GEOCode directly into Tax Codes By GEOCode without using this utility.

The prompts to build a GEOCode using this mask include:

STATE CODE

Enter the code for the province or state.
 This can be 2 alpha or numeric characters.

COUNTY CODE

Enter a code for the county or area.
 This can be 3 numeric characters.

CITY CODE

Enter a code for the city or more specific location.
 This can be 3 numeric characters.

Finished?

Click ACCEPT to accept the new GEOCode.

Relevant cities and tax information can then be entered in Tax Codes By GEOCode.
