Copy Statement Layouts

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Accounting Tab -> General Ledger -> Statement Layouts -> BUILD button -> Copy Layout

Statement Layouts are used to define the G/L accounts that are included to produce Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Business Reports are setup in Statement Layouts.

Often one report is very similar to another but requires a slightly different presentation.
 e.g. Detailed Income Statement and Summarized Income Statement

This utility can be used to create another layout based on a existing similar layout.
 Then once a copy is completed, the new layout can be further modified in Statement Layouts.

The prompts to create a copy are:

FROM LAYOUT #

Enter the code for the existing Statement Layout that is to be copied, or select it from the drop-down box.

TO LAYOUT #

Enter the new code for the new Statement Layout that is to be created.

Finished?

Click the ACCEPT button to proceed to Statement Layouts to enter a description and modify the layout, or CANCEL to abort.
