This window provides complete details on how the meter units billing amount was calculated.
 The prompts include:

The Meter In less the Meter Out = Meter Used
 The Meter Used less the Meter Included = Meter Charged.
 

A window is provided on the Meter Used field to view LTD usage.

The Meter Charged times the Meter Rate = Meter Charge
 The Meter Charge less Accumulated Invoice meter charges = Net Meter Charge

There are two methods of calculating the units eligible for billing:

•The 'Standard Meter Billing' calculates meter units used, allowed, and charged, based on the entire period of the contract rather than on the individual billing period, and recognizes prior period unbilled units.
 Standard Meter Billing usage takes into account any previously billed meter usage when returning metered items.

•The 'Enhanced Meter Billing' only bills the meter usage going forward based on over utilization in the individual billing period, regardless of prior billings.

Meter Exchange Tracking:

If a meter is replaced on an item, the following fields also apply in the meter unit count calculation:

The Meter Out End is the final meter unit count of the old meter that is being replaced on the product.
 The Meter In Start is the starting meter unit count of the mew meter that is being installed.
 If a meter exchange occurred the Meter Used is then based on the units used on the original meter plus the units used on the replacement meter as follows:

(Meter Out End less Meter Out) plus (Meter In less Meter In Start) = Meter Used

The Meter Exchange field indicates the meter count if a meter replacement was done.
