ODBC Setup For Oracle Database

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Security Tab -> General Settings -> ODBC Setup For Oracle

The Open Data Base Connectivity (ODBC) driver can be utilized with SRM software, to create custom reports via any report manager or database manager.
 e.g. Access, Cognos, C-Gate etc.

The setup options can be maintained in the ODBC Setup For Oracle Database window on the Security tab of the Configure System Settings.
 An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the Security - ODBC Setup For Oracle Database in order to access this table.

Setup the ODBC user and password for use with Oracle to provide access to all tables:

ODBC USERNAME

The first 4 characters are ODBC, and the last 3 characters are your company code.

ODBC PASSWORD

Enter an operator password for this user code.

RE-ENTER ODBC PASSWORD

Re-enter the password to confirm it.
