Role Permissions
System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Security tab -> General Settings -> Security Roles -> Security Role Permissions windows for "System Configuration Tabs" and "General Settings" -> Role Permissions
Permissions can be set by Security Role to control access restriction to tools, actions, and buttons that cannot be set by tree menu option.
The options and actions can be flagged in each of the windows on Security Role Permissions.
Check the appropriate boxes in the Permit column if this role should include access to a table or should allow this capability.
The Role can then be assigned to appropriate employees in Operators.
Specific security actions controlled by each type of Role Permission window is explained in Security Role Permissions.
ACTIONS:
Additional actions provided by buttons on the Role Permissions screen include:
•Click the SET ALL button to check all the permission boxes in this window.
Items can then be unchecked individually as required for the role.
•Conversely, click the CLEAR ALL button to uncheck all the permission boxes.
Items can then be rechecked individually as required for the role.
