SCS - Remove Invalid Inventory Location

This is a Texada Support maintenance utility that is not on a standard menu.

This utility can be used to identify and remove all sales and rental inventory RSIL quantities from a selected location.
It can be useful to clean up a division such as the Head Office when it does not actually have a physical inventory yard.

After selecting the Location to be updated, the following two Remove Inventory Location reports are generated:

No Qty at Location:
The first Remove Inventory Location report lists the products with no quantity count at the selected location but have an empty RSIL location record.
The list is sorted by product number regardless of sales or rental type.

These are the products that are eligible for "clean-up".
After reviewing the report, confirmation is required to proceed with the removal of the location record on products listed on this first report.

Qty Exists at the Location:
The second report lists products that do have quantity at the selected location or that have open documents for a product for that location.
This report is for information only, and no action will be taken on these products as any adjustments need to be investigated and made manually.

The report lists the sales and rental products in product number sequence with the description, and location quantities including On Hand at the location, and any quantity on Contract, Reservation, Sales Order, Purchase Order and Back Ordered on a Work Order from the location.
The quantity details at each location can be reviewed in the Location window accessed from the Quantity On Hand field in Sales Inventory or Rental Inventory, where quantity location adjustments can be made.
After any quantity location changes are completed, run Post Inventory Adjustments to update the GL inventory value to match.
