Job Event Search

Search window -> Job Event field -> Job Event Search

The Job Event Search window can be set to display only events for the document site or to also display events for Global Sites, as follows:

If Enforce Event Code By Site is activated in the Company Rate Parameters then only Events for the Site on the document are displayed, as setup in Customer Site Information.
Job Events can be added for a Site "on-the-fly" at document entry if required and expiry dates on the existing Events can be modified.

If Enforce Event Code By Site is NOT activated in the Company Rate Parameters then any Global Events also display as setup in Global Job Events.
Event records cannot be added or modified "on-the-fly".

Search Results:
The Event selection window lists the event description, expiry date, active flag, start and end dates, rate information and delivery/pickup time allowances.
The list can be resorted by any column in ascending or descending order, by clicking in the column heading.
Columns can also be dragged and dropped to reposition them as required

The document dates default from the selected Event with the Delivery and Pickup allowance, and all rental products entered on the document are assigned a flat rate code of E.
The event rate charge is the product's regular rate for the Event Rental Rate code, multiplied by the designated Factor for the event.

Note: If the regular product rate structure does NOT include the corresponding Rate code, it uses the Event rate amount from the product rate structure and the Factor is not applied. If the regular product rate structure does NOT include either that Rate code or 'E' for Event, then the regular rate processing applies and Event processing does not apply.

To select a value from the displayed list, double-click on the appropriate record, or highlight the record and click the SELECT button.
