Inventory Location Discrepancies Report

Utilities Menu -> Inventory Control -> Inventory Location Discrepancy Report

This report adds up the quantity on each location record, and compares this total to the running balance total Quantity On Hand as displayed on Sales Inventory and on Rental Inventory.
 This utility can be accessed from the Utilities menu for Inventory Control operations.

If there was a power outage or hard disk failure, or otherwise corrupted data files, it is possible to get these values out of sync with the sum of the quantities on the Location records.

The Inventory Location Total Discrepancies report can be generated separately for Rental equipment, for Sales parts, or for both.

To fix products individually, review each item on the report in Sales Inventory or Rental Inventory and click on the Information icon beside the Quantity On Hand field to force a recalculation to resolve the discrepancies.
 Alternatively fix all rental and sales products by using the RESET tool outlined below.

ACTIONS:
 Additional actions provided by buttons on the Inventory Location Discrepancies Report screen include:

•Update On Hand Quantity for all Products to Match Total Location Count
 Click the RESET button at the bottom left of this screen to adjust the On Hand total for all products as outlined in Reset Product On Hand To Location Quantity .
