Quotation Status

Counter Menu -> Quotations Menu -> Quotation Status Codes

This utility can be used to maintain the Status Codes on rental and sale quotes created in the standard Quotations program.
 A default code can be defined in the Company Quotation Parameters to be assigned when a quote is created and when it is converted to a reservation, contract, or invoice.

Though the same status codes are used for the Sale Approval Quotes processing, when Status Codes are assigned to the standard Quotations these status values are ONLY used in reporting on the Quotation Status Report.

A selected list of the standard quotes can be displayed on the screen based on date, status selection, and division, listing the quote number, Status, Bill To Name, dates and division.
 The resulting list does respect the operator Divisional Restricted Views.

The Status can be changed or added for a quote as required, if the operator has been assigned a Security Role that allows permission to Access To Quotation Status Codes in the "Miscellaneous" window of the Security Role Permissions.
 A drop-down list is then provided on the Status field to select from valid codes as setup in Status Codes or a selection of Status Codes can be used with the SEL option as outlined in the Select Status Codes List window.

 Additional actions provided by buttons on the Assign Quotation Status Codes screen include:

•Print the Quote Status Report:
 Click the REPORT button to generate a selected list of standard rental and sales quotes with associated status, as outlined in Quotation Status Report.
