Regional Rental Rate Matrix

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Operations Tab -> Rental Rates & Pricing -> Regional Rental Rate Matrix

Different special rental rates can be assigned here to the individual divisions.
 This provides special pricing for the various Customer Rate Types by region.

e.g. A Customer identified with a Regional Rental Rate Type as a Contractor, would be charged the special rental contractor rates for equipment, according to the rental Division on the Contract, Reservation, Quotation, etc.

Refer to the documentation in Special Rate Codes for setup and flow of applying "Regional Rental Rate Matrix".

Note: The security by division feature as determined by Divisional Restricted Views, does NOT apply to the regional pricing matrix utility.

The rate matrix can be maintained in the Regional Rental Rate Matrix window in the "Rental Rates & Pricing" parameters on the Operations tab of the Configure System Settings.
 An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the Operations - Regional Rental Rate Matrix in order to access this table.

The prompts to assign special rates for a division are:

DIVISION

Enter the Division or select it from the drop-down list.

SEQ

The sequence number tracks the number of pricing records for this Division.

TYPE

Enter a Rental Rate Type code or select it from the drop-down list.
 Rate Types are setup in Regional Rental Rate Types.

DESCRIPTION

The Rate Type description displays.

RATE

Enter the Rate Code for this Rate Type for this Division, or select it from the Special Rate Level Search window.

DESCRIPTION

The Rate Level description displays.

Click ACCEPT to accept and close the window.

ACTIONS:
 Additional actions provided by buttons on the Regional Rental Rate Matrix screen include:

•Delete Rate Matrix Records:
 The DELETE button is only active when the role assigned to the operator in Operators has permission to delete rate matrix records.
 The role permission is setup in Security Roles on the Security tab of Configure System Settings.
 Select the record and click the DELETE button to delete a Rate Matrix Record.

•Print Rate Matrix Report:
 Prior to selecting a Division, click the REPORT button report by division, as outlined in Print Regional Rental Rate Matrix.

•Copy Rate Matrix:
 Prior to selecting a Division, click the COPY button to copy a rate matrix from one Division to another, as outlined in Copy Regional Rental Rate Matrix.
