Remove Sale Quote Approval

Counter Menu -> Quotations -> Sale Quotes Pending Approval -> REMOVE button -> Remove Sale Quote Approval

This utility can be used to retract the submit or the approved status on a sale quote if the quote has not yet been converted to an invoice.

After the quote is selected, the customer name, current document status and associated operator are displayed.
 Only the operator who set that status has the ability to also remove it.

•Undo Submit Status:
 In the event that a Sale Approval Quote has been submitted to the Credit Department for approval from Sale Approval Quote Totals screen, and is incorrect and needs to be modified, this utility can be used to 'unlock' the quote by removing the SUBMIT flag requesting approval.
 An email is automatically generated to notify the Credit Department of the change in status, per the address setup by Division in Credit Department Email Addresses.

Only the operator who submitted the quote can remove the Submit status on that same quote that makes it eligible for credit approval consideration.

•Undo Approved Status:
 In the event a Sale Approval Quote has been approved by the Credit Department in error in the Sale Quotes Pending Approval utility and now the approval needs to be retracted, this utility can be used to remove the approval status if the quote has not yet been converted to an invoice.
 The quote can then be reviewed again using Sale Quotes Pending Approval.
 An email is automatically generated to notify the operator that created the quote, of the change in status.

ACTIONS:
 Additional actions provided by buttons on the Remove Sale Quote Approval screen include:

•View the Quote Details:
 After entering Sale Approval Quote number in the Quote # field that has been completed and submitted for approval click the DETAILS button to view the product details of the quote in the View Document Information inquiry.

•Return to the List of Quotes Requiring Approval:
 Click the VIEW PENDING button to return to the Sale Quotes Pending Approval screen.
