Tax Area ID Inquiry

Utilities Menu -> Taxing -> Tax Area ID Inquiry

This Tax area inquiry can be accessed from the Utilities menu for Taxing and applies to:

•Vertex Tax Software processing when activated from the Company Taxing Parameters at which time the tax area file is populated according to Vertex specification.

•Enhanced Tax processing when activated from the Company Taxing Parameters.
 Geographic codes can be setup in Tax Codes By GEOCode.

To view the related GEOCodes or tax area ID for a location, enter any or all of the address information in the Province/State, County/City, or Postal/Zip Code fields, and click ACCEPT.

Resulting Tax Areas:
 For Vertex Software, the inquiry screen will list all tax areas that apply to this region as outlined in Tax Area ID For Address.
 For Enhanced Taxing, the inquiry screen will list all GEOCodes that apply to this region as outlined in GEOCode Areas.
