W.O. Service Recommendations


Work Order Menu -> Work Orders / Fast-Track Work Order Parts / Fast-Track Work Order Labor -> SERVICE REC button -> W.O. Service Recommendations (Additional records can be added)

Work Order Menu -> Work Orders -> auto-open after product entered -> W.O. Service Recommendations (Add check box enabled only)


This window is triggered after the non-bulk rental product has been entered on the Work Order, if the Allow Service Recommendations processing has been activated in the Divisional Work Order Parameters, and there are any open service instruction details for this equipment in Service Recommendations.
 It can also be accessed from the SERVICE REC button on the Fast-Track Work Order Parts, and Fast-Track Work Order Labor utilities.

Note: This button is disabled for service on sales products, customer products, and bulk rental products.

A list of Service Recommendations can be output to a spreadsheet using the W.O. Service Recommendations Report.

Service Recommendations Performed on this W.O.:

If this window was automatically triggered when the product was added to the Work Order only open recommendation records are listed.

Check the Add box for each Repair/Service instruction detail that is to be included and completed on this W.O.
 When a service recommendation detail is selected on the W.O. it is flagged as closed in the recommendation file in Service Recommendations.
 Selected recommendations will print in the Work Order comments.

Leave the Add box unchecked if this service is still pending, and should not be added to this Work Order.
 Any remaining open recommendation details will display again the next time the product is entered for service on a W.O.

Click OK to save the Add flags and exit the screen.
 Service recommendation records cannot be added, changed or deleted from this auto-generated window.

Adding New Service Recommendations for Work on a Non-Bulk Rental Product:

If this window was accessed from the SERVICE REC button at the bottom of the Work Order, Fast-Track Work Order Parts or Fast-Track Work Order Labor screens then any existing Repair/Service instructions are displayed and cannot be modified. Each recommendation record displays a Closed status flag indicating which recommendations are open/closed.
 Additional new records can be added.

A separate Service Recommendations window can be accessed from the "Maintenance Scheduling Menu" menu to maintain these Repair/Service instructions for a non-bulk product, that can then be added to the W.O. when the selection window re-opens automatically with the Add to W.O. option.

The created Date & Time is captured when a record is initially added to the 'W.O. Service Recommendations' for a product to meet a reporting requirement for a Texada Analytics.
 The Date & Time of the last modification is also captured.
