Print Rate Book

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Operations Tab -> Rental Rates & Pricing -> Special Rate Codes -> Details window -> RATEBOOK button -> >Print Rate Book

This Rate Book is a print out of the Special rental rates for the previously selected Special Rate Level.
 This is useful to keep at the rental counter, for staff to look up rental rates.
 This can be accessed by clicking the RATEBOOK button in the Details window for the rate level in Special Rate Codes.

•The Rate Book by Product Class determines which rates to print, by using the first 6 rates flagged to print in the Rate Book, in the window on View Product Class Rates in Rental Product Classes.

•The Rate Books by Description or Product # order, determine which rates to print, by using the first 6 rates flagged to print in the Rate Book, in Company Default Rates.

The selection options to generate a Rate Book for the selected Special Rate Level include:

RATEBOOK BY

Select one of the following selection/sort options:

•Click Class to select the products for the Rate Book by Product Class.

•Click Group to select and print the just Group Rates in the Rate Book.

•Click Class/Group prints any Group special rates by Group Description, within the Product Class.
 Only Groups flagged to use the Group Rates in Equipment Groups are included.
 If a class has no groups using group rates, then the Product Class is omitted.

FROM PRODUCT CLASS

This does not apply if the Group option has been selected.

Leave this field blank to include all Product Classes or select a starting class from the Product Class Search window, for the range to be printed.

TO PRODUCT CLASS

Leave this field blank to include all Product Classes or select an ending class from the window, for the range to be printed.

FROM PRODUCT GROUP

This does not apply if the Class option has been selected.

Leave this field blank to include all groups or select a starting group from the Group Search, for the range to be printed.

TO PRODUCT GROUP

Leave this field blank to include all groups or select an ending group from the window, for the range to be printed.

NEW PAGE PER CLASS

This option does not apply to the Group Rate Book.

Check this box to print each Product Class on a new page.
 Uncheck this box to suppress paging by Product Class.

LINE SPACING

This only applies to the Class/Group option.

Select one of the following options:

•Select Single to print the Rate Book information on every line.

•Select Double to print the Rate Book with Double Spacing.

ALTERNATE LANGUAGE

Uncheck this box to print the Rate Book in English.

Check this box to print the product descriptions in the Alternate language in the Rate Book.
 Alternate language rate descriptions are used, as stored for each class in the expanded rate records in the Product Class Rates window of Rental Product Classes.

Finished?

A printer can be confirmed or re-selected from the Printer option located on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click the ACCEPT button to begin printing the report, or CANCEL to abort.
