Convert Worksheet to Transfer

Inventory Control Menu -> Internal Branch Transfers -> Internal Inventory Transfer Worksheets -> CONVERT button -> Convert Worksheet to Transfer

This utility can be used to convert a worksheet created in Internal Inventory Transfer Worksheets to an Inventory Transfer, and to complete the shipping using Ship Internal Transfers.

SERIALIZED SALES PART

If the transfer worksheet includes a serialized sales product, and the product is NOT flagged to enter serial numbers at "Time of Sale", enter the serial number to be transferred or select it from the Select Serial Number window.

Worksheet to Transfer Convert Errors:
 If there were conditions preventing any products on the worksheet from being included on the transfer, then a warning message is generated and those products are omitted from the resulting transfer, and the worksheet is closed.
 Reasons for omitting products include:

•No stock at the shipping location.

•No serial number selected for a serialized sales item.

•Serial number duplicated

•Invalid Product number

•Product out on a contract

•Product flagged to prevent transfer according to Product Status Code

Note: If there is insufficient quantity available at the shipping location to fill the transfer requirements requested on the worksheet, then only the available quantity is listed on the transfer and a warning is triggered to alert the operator of the shortage.

Complete the Transfer

Any products that are converted from the worksheet to the transfer are listed on a Packing Slip that is printed automatically to the selected printer, with the new transfer#, source worksheet# and associated comments.

The Ship Transfer screen is opened so the transfer can be completed as outlined in Ship Internal Transfers.
