Cylinder Rental Analysis Report

Counter Menu -> Cylinder Transactions -> Cylinder Rental Analysis Report

The Cylinder report generates a spreadsheet to show the cylinder usage information by customer site for the selected date range, captured from the completed transactions Closed in Cylinder Entry.
 The report respects the Divisional Restricted Views assigned to the operator.
 Only rental products in a Group identified to Use Cylinders are included.

The spreadsheet shows the number of cylinders rented by each Group, if the Group is flagged as Use Cylinders in Groups.
 This can be useful to provide visibility on how many cylinders are being used by a customer in comparison to the equipment rentals.
 e.g. Propane cylinders out to service the Heaters:
 If many cylinders are going out to service few heaters, then it could be that the customer is acquiring the heaters from a different source.
 This could be a concern as it is the rentals that generate the major revenue.

The formulas used on the spreadsheet for the consumable Sales Product such as propane, and their containers such as cylinders, include:

•Avg Cyl. = Total Container Qty on Site / Number of Days in Report Period

•Qty Contained = Qty of 'Consumable Sales Products' sold on Cylinder Invoices

•Revenue = Revenue of 'Consumable Sales Products' sold on Cylinder Invoices

•Rental Rev. = Rental Revenue from Containers rented

•Cylinder Turns = Container Qty / Avg Cyl

•Cylinder to Group Ratio = Avg Cyl / Total Containers on Rent

•Revenue per Cylinder = Rental Rev / Avg Cyl

Note: A maximum of 150 Groups can be reported in this analysis.
