When an operator logs into the Texada SRM the system records the license usage along with the user information.
Sessions are tracked across the server and can be viewed in this utility for each Windows Client and each Web Browser login, capturing the date, time, company code, user name, workstation/browser information, and IP address, from the Logging on to Texada SRM screen.

The License count logins are tracked on each device as follows:

Windows Client:
A count of one license applies for each device or workstation that has any Windows Client logins, covering multiple MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class) sessions on that device.
e.g. If one laptop had four Windows sessions logged in this would equal 1 license
If two separate laptops each have a Windows session logged in at the same time, this would equal 2 licenses.

Web Browser:
One license is counted for each type of Web App or OC (Open Client) Browser used on a device including Safari, Chrome, and certain versions of Internet Explorer.
e.g. If one laptop had four Windows sessions logged in plus a Web App or session on Safari and another on Chrome all at the same time, this would equal 3 licenses
If a single device had several web sessions all signed in using the same type of browser, then this counts as only 1 license.

Note: Portal logins are not included in license usage, nor are any logins by Texada Support and Client Services staff.

A Peak License Usage Report can be generated regularly on the previous month's and/or week's count and emailed to management using the Automatic Job Scheduling utility.
Contact Texada Client Services for assistance on setting up the email address in the Windows directory of the appropriate .ini file, if required.

This Peak License Usage Details utility provides twelve months of usage information in a rolling calendar format on 12 monthly tabs of the login information at the peak point, as follows:

Months: Click on the tab at the top of the calendar to view the daily peak statistics for the corresponding month. Days: The highest number of licenses simultaneously logged in, in the course of each day is displayed as the number of licenses used on that calendar day.
This represents a "high water" mark for that day, so that once a "high water" mark has been recorded it will not increase or record anything else for that day until it exceeds this "high water" mark count, and if exceeded, the user licenses logged in at the time of the new peak will be captured replacing the previous peak details.
Click the EXCEL button and select Summary to output the daily license count or daily "high water" mark for the date selection, as outlined below. Peak: The day in the month with the highest number of licenses used is highlighted in pink, and represents the peak for the month. This peak could be reached on multiple days.
Click the 12MO VIEW button to view a bar graph of the monthly peak counts for the rolling twelve month period, as outlined below. User Sessions at Peak: Click on any day in the calendar to drill down to the License ID sessions that make up the License count for that day, displaying the company code, license ID, user name, number of sessions, date, time, workstation/browser information, IP address, and the Operator name.
Only the sessions captured at the peak of the day are reflected, so this means if one session signs out on a device and later another signs in on a different device, the license count does not increase and only the first session is displayed in User Sessions window. Individual Sessions at Peak: Double click on any record in the User Session table or focus on it and click DETAILS, to drill down to the specific sessions that comprise the number of Sessions for that license record, displaying the company code, Terminal ID, user name (device name or browser), date, time, IP address for Windows MFC Sessions or Session ID for web browsers, and the Operator name for OC web Browser sessions or Windows level user name for Windows MFC Sessions.
Click the EXCEL button and select Detail to output the specifics of each session for each day in the date selection, as outlined below.
