Copy Group Description to Non-Bulk Rentals

Utilities Menu -> Inventory Control -> Restructure Class/Group -> GROUP CLEANUP button -> Copy Group Description to Non-Bulk Rentals

Utilities Menu -> Inventory Control -> Restructure Class/Group -> Groups/Rates import -> Copy Group Description to Non-Bulk Rentals

This utility can be used to copy the Group description defined in Groups to all non-bulk rental products in that Group.
 When the 'cleanup' is triggered from the group spreadsheet import it only shows the "OLD" groups on the spreadsheet, but when the 'cleanup' is triggered from the GROUP CLEANUP button on the Restructure Class/Group/Rates/Tag screen, otherwise the description copy shows all groups with non-bulk rentals.

The Rental Groups are listed in Group number sequence.
 Check the box in the Copy column if the description should be written to the non-bulk equipment.
 Leave the box unchecked if the description should not be copied.
 Click OK when the selection is completed.
 Confirmation is required.

Note: This copy action cannot be "Undone".

After this process is completed an additional option is provided to deleted any Groups with no products, as outlined in Delete Unused Groups.

ACTIONS:
 Additional actions provided by buttons on the Copy Group Description to Non-Bulk Rentals include:

•Check the Copy Box for all Groups:
 Click SET ALL to flag each Group to copy the Group description to all non-bulk rental products in the Group.
 Specific Groups can then be unchecked as required.

•Remove the Check from the Copy Box for all Groups:
 Click CLEAR ALL to remove the Copy flag for each Group.
 Specific Groups can then be re-checked as required.
