Export/Import Site Delivery Info for Descartes

Utilities Menu -> Data Export/Import Utilities -> Export/Import Site Delivery Info for Descartes

This utility can be used to update the Delivery/Pickup Site Information in Customer Sites that is required for the WinRoute and On Demand software when activated on the Logistics tab of the Software Integration.

The action flow includes:

Select one of the following actions:

•Create Worksheet:
 Click Export option in the radio group to generate a spreadsheet populated with the existing site delivery/pickup values, as outlined in Site Delivery Info Export.

•Move the Saved Text File to the Server:
 Click Upload File to copy the tab-delimited text file created from the saved Site Delivery Info Export from your client machine to the data directory on the server in preparation for importing.
 The Select a File to Upload utility is used to search for the file and to rename it to "site_delivery_info.txt" before completing the upload.
 File upload success or failure is displayed.

•Update the Sites with the new Values:
 Click Import to clear the information for each site in the text file and to repopulate the fields with the new values.
 A spreadsheet will be generated displaying successful records and records with errors.
 Confirmation is required to update Customer Sites with the new data.

•Exit 'Export/Import Site Delivery Info' sub-menu:
 Click Cancel when no further action is required.

Click OK to initiate the action selected in the radio group.
