Site Delivery Info Export

Utilities Menu -> Data Export/Import Utilities -> Export/Import Site Delivery - Descartes -> Site Delivery Info Export

This export utility can be used to generate a spreadsheet with the existing Delivery/Pickup Site Information values for the Customer Site Information.
 The display only values include the Customer # (cannot be changed), Long Customer # (cannot be changed), Customer Name (cannot be changed), Site # (cannot be changed), and Site Name (cannot be changed).
 The values that can be changed to update the Customer Site Information include the Instruction 1, Instruction 2, Site Type, Loading Dock, Call First, and Minimum Loading Time.

The prompts are:

ACTIVITY CUT-OFF

Enter a cut-off date to omit Sites with no invoices created since that date.
 i.e. Only sites with at least one invoice after the cut-off date, will be included on the export.

Click ACCEPT to generate the spreadsheet or CANCEL to abort.

Resulting Spreadsheet:
 

•Modify the spreadsheet with the correct values.

•On import, only sites on the original export spreadsheet are updated.

•Additional site records should not be added to the worksheet as the import action will fail to import them.

•Because the import clears existing values before importing the new values, any fields left blank on the saved worksheet will be left blank on the site after the import.

Save the Revised Data:
 When the values are all updated on the worksheet, save the completed spreadsheet as a tab-delimited text file on your client machine, then use the Select a File to Upload utility to move the saved text file from your client to the server in preparation for re-importing the data.
