Customer Comment Types
System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Customer Management Tab -> General Settings -> Customer Comment Types
This table can be used to define types or categories of Customer Comments to be optionally assigned to each notes detail entered in the Customer Comments window.
An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the Customer Management - Customer Comment Types in order to access this table.
Note: Comment Types do not apply to Collector Comments.
Multiple type records can be entered as follows:
TYPE
Enter a maximum of 10 characters for the Customer Comment Type.
DESCRIPTION
Use a maximum of 30 characters for describing the Comment Type.

Click ACCEPT to accept the records in this table and to exit.
ACTIONS:
Additional actions provided by buttons on the Customer Comment Types screen include:
•Delete A Comment Type:
Click on the Type record to focus on the record to be deleted, and then click the DELETE button.
Confirmation is required that the record should be deleted.
Note: A Type record can be deleted from this table even if it is assigned to a comment in the Customer Comments window for some customer.
Once deleted it can not be assigned to any new record, and a warning error will be thrown when a Comment detail already assigned the Type is reviewed.
