Financing Options

Inventory Control Menu -> Rental Inventory -> Financing window -> Financing Options

The following two separate processes are provided to track financing details of rental assets. Neither, either or both options can be used.
 The options include:

•LEASING
 Select Leasing to access the Lease Information window for bulk or non-bulk rental products.
 This finance option can be used to manually setup a Lease payment schedule for information purposes.
 No auto-payment capture or posting is involved.

•ASSET FINANCING
 The Asset Financing option is a more substantial process than the Leasing option but can only be applied to non-bulk rental equipment.
 This finance schedule includes dates with principal and interest amounts.
 Data can be imported or entered manually into the Asset Financing Information table so that subsequent monthly payment transactions can be generated and posted to the GL when the Finance Posting Reports are accepted.

The operator must have a Security role flagged with access to "Asset Financing" in the 'Document Field Access' section of the Role Permission to have access to this option.

Lease payments and Asset Finance payments can be considered in the product costs, when running Gross Margin Analysis Report.
