Integrated Accounting


System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> System -> Company & Divisions -> Company Parameters -> Software Integration -> Integrated Accounting


Texada SRM software can be integrated with other Accounting applications such as QuickBooks (QB), Xero and MYOB.
 The integration process scans the posted G/L transactions in SRM to identify transactions that have not yet been exported to the third-party accounting package, and summarizes the transactions by G/L Account and Date into a Journal.
 The Journals are then exported to the external accounting package for further analysis.

Select one of the following integrated accounting options:

Click None if neither of the other options apply.

QUICKBOOKS
 Click QuickBooks to integrate SRM software with QB accounting.

To integrate SRM with QuickBooks complete the following once the deployment method has been worked determined:

API ENDPOINT URL

This URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is provided by 'Intuit' and allows SRM to communicate with the QuickBooks back end.
 This URL must be preceded by https:// for it to function correctly.

Note: The deployment method will determine where this URL will come from.

REDIRECT URI

This URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) is the RESTful web services endpoint for the /get/Oauth-auth-redirect API of the SRM instance.
 This link must be preceded by https:// for it to function correctly and SSL web services need to be enabled for this to function correctly.

CLIENT ID

This ID string is provided by 'Intuit' based on the deployment method.

CLIENT SECRET

This password is provided by 'Intuit' based on the deployment method.

Test:
 Click the CONNECT TO QUICKBOOKS button to test the Oauth configuration.
 When the configuration is correct a popup window is triggered to sign into Intuit.
 Once signed in, the appropriate QuickBooks company must be selected if there is more than one QB company available.
 If the Oauth token passes successfully, a success message will appear and SRM will display the basic company information of the QuickBooks company.
 If there a current oauth session going a DISCONNECT button is provided to disconnect the session or to call the QuickBooks disconnect API.

Additional QB/SRM Setup Requirements:

oThe G/L Accounts names setup in Chart of Accounts must match the account name in QuickBooks.

oThe Alternate G/L Account field in Chart of Accounts is renamed to “QB Account ID” where the field is populated with the Internal ID assigned to the account by QuickBooks.

Note: From the Chart of Accounts the QuickBook Account# Selection search utility can be used to access the QuickBook Account# list and to select the relevant account.
 The Chart Of Account Validation and Sync QuickBooks/Xero Chart Of Account tools can be used to confirm Account setup matches.

oThe Supplier name in Vendor Information must match the supplier name in QuickBooks.

oThe Account# field in Vendor Information is renamed to “QB Account ID” where the field is populated by QuickBooks.

Note: The QuickBooks Vendor Search and Vendor Validation tools can be used to confirm Vendor setup matches.

XERO
 Click Xero to integrate SRM software with Xero accounting and complete the following:

To integrate SRM with Xero - 0Auth2.0 complete the following once the deployment method has been determined:

Note: The entire SRM Chart of Accounts is passed to the Xero applications by the Sync QuickBooks/Xero Chart Of Account tool to ensure that the accounts match up for the postings.

Test:
 Click the TEST button to test the Oauth configuration.

MYOB - AccountRight
 Click MYOB - AccountRight to integrate SRM software with this laptop accounting package and complete the following:

API ENDPOINT URL

This URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is provided by MYOB and allows SRM to communicate with the MYOB back end.
 This URL must be preceded by https:// for it to function correctly.

Note: The deployment method will determine where this URL will come from.

BUSINESS ID

REDIRECT URI

 This link must be preceded by https:// for it to function correctly and SSL web services need to be enabled for this to function correctly.

This password is provided by MYOB based on the deployment method.

Note: When G/L accounts are setup in SRM to match MYOB-AccountRight the format of the corresponding accounts in Chart of Accounts needs to be a single number followed by a dash and then any value.
 i.e. 3-100VA is accepted but 200-BA will fail.

Test:
 Click the TEST button to test the Oauth configuration.

MYOB - Essentials
 Click MYOB - Essentials to integrate SRM software with this accounting package and complete the following:

API ENDPOINT URL
