Product Min/Max Export

Purchase Order Menu -> Inventory Re-Ordering -> Edit Min & Max Utility -> PRODUCT IMPORT button -> Update Product Min/Max -> Product Min/Max Export

This export selection screen can be used to select a range of Sales Products and/or Bulk Rental Products to be updated.
 A spreadsheet template is generated populated with the existing product Min, Max and Re-Order Multiple values for each product in the range.

The prompts are:

PRODUCT TYPE

Select one of the following filters:

•Choose Rentals to only include bulk rental assets from Rental Inventory.

•Choose Sales to only include sales items from Sales Inventory.

•Choose Both to include sales and bulk rental products.

Note: This import is not relevant to non-bulk rental assets as Min/Max and Re-Order Multiple will always be one.

Product Selection:

One of the following three filters must be used to select the products for the worksheet export.

PRODUCT, 'ALL' OR 'SEL'

•Type ALL to include all products based on the selected Product Type.

•Enter a specific product number to export only that product, or select one from the Inventory Search window.

•Type SEL to select a combination of products to include as outlined in Select Products window.

CLASS, 'ALL' OR 'SEL'

•Type ALL to include products from all Product Classes that match the selected Product Type.

•Enter a specific Class to export data for products from a single Product Class, or select a Class from the Product Class Search window.

•Type SEL to select a combination of Product Classes to include as outlined in Select Class List window.

GROUP, 'ALL' OR 'SEL'

•Type ALL to include products from all Groups that match the selected Product Type.

•Enter a specific Group to export only data for products from that Group, or select a Group from the Product Group Search window.

•Type SEL to select a combination of Product Groups to include as outlined in Select Group List window.

Finished?

Click ACCEPT to generate the spreadsheet or CANCEL to abort.

Resulting Spreadsheet:
 The resulting spreadsheet lists the selected sales and/or bulk rental products with the values that can be updated.
 Modify the spreadsheet with the correct Min, Max and Re-order Multiple values.
 Existing values can be cleared by entering a Y in the Clear column.
 Additional products can be added to the spreadsheet, excluding products flagged to 'Order by Location' because a new Location is not supported for a product import.

Note: Blank fields on the import spreadsheet could remove data and is controlled by the option to "Ignore Blank Values" provided on the Import action.

Save the Revised Data:
 When the values are all updated on the worksheet, save the completed spreadsheet to a tab delimited "txt" or "csv"file on your client machine, then use the Select a File to Upload utility to move the saved file from your client to the server in preparation for re-importing the data.
