Inspection Form Multiple Choice Options

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Operations Tab -> Inventory -> Maintain Inspection Forms -> MC OPTIONS button -> Inspection Form Multiple Choice Options

Multiple-choice questions can be set up for use on the Maintain Inspection Forms that prompt the mechanic or driver to select from a pre-defined set of responses.
 This utility is used to setup the response Options.

Setup:

•First define the options or responses that can be selected in this Inspection Form Multiple Choice Options table.

•Create the List and assign the relevant response Options is the Inspection Form Multiple Choice Lists.

•Add the "Inspection_Multiple_Choice" type record to the Maintain Inspection Forms with the valid response options for this inspection question in the Multiple Choice Options window on the form.

The prompts to create Option responses are:

SEQ

Accept the sequence number that tracks the records in the Options table.
 These records will be resorted in alphabetical order.

OPTION

Enter the Option or response of up to 5 characters.

DESCRIPTION

Enter the description for this Option or response of up to 60 characters.

Finished?

Click ACCEPT to save the Options and close the window.

These Options can now be assigned to the appropriate Lists in Inspection Form Multiple Choice Lists.

Note: Options cannot be deleted from this table while they are assigned to an Inspection Form Multiple Choice Lists.
