Inspection Form Multiple Choice Lists
System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Operations Tab -> Inventory -> Maintain Inspection Forms -> MC LISTS button -> Inspection Form Multiple Choice Lists
Multiple-choice questions can be set up for use on the Maintain Inspection Forms that prompt the mechanic or driver to select from a pre-defined set of responses.
This utility is used to create the Lists that categorize the option responses.
Setup:
•Define the options or responses that can be selected in the Inspection Form Multiple Choice Options
•Create the List and assign the response Options is this Inspection Form Multiple Choice Lists table.
•Add the "Inspection_Multiple_Choice" type record to the Maintain Inspection Forms with the valid response options for this inspection question in the Multiple Choice Options window on the form.
The prompts to create or update a List are:
LIST
Add mode opens the Add Multiple Choice List window:
LIST
Enter the new List name of up to 10 characters.
DESCRIPTION
Enter a description for this List of up to 60 characters.
Finished?
Click ACCEPT to proceed or CANCEL to abort creating this List.
In Change mode a drop-down box is provided to view and select from existing Add Multiple Choice Lists
List Details:
SEQ
Accept the sequence number that tracks the records in the List table.
OPTION
Select a suitable Option or response for this List from the drop-down box as setup in the Inspection Form Multiple Choice Options table.
DESCRIPTION
The description of this Option is displayed for reference only.
Finished?
Click ACCEPT to save the List and close the window.
