Avalara Entity Codes

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Company Parameters -> Taxing Parameters -> Taxing Method Avalara Tax -> Avalara Tax Settings -> Avalara Entity Codes

Accounts Receivable Menu -> Customer Information -> Customer Codes -> Tax Codes -> Avalara Entity Codes

When the Avalara Tax software is activated in the Company Taxing Parameters, selected Entity Codes are created in SRM as supplied by Avalara.

This is a view only screen and these codes can not be changed.
 Entity Codes can be used to categorize customers such as state/government/agriculture/religious/educational/foreign etc.
 The Entity Code can be assigned to each customer in the 'Avalara Entity Code' window in the 'Tax Codes' setup window of the Customer Codes in Customer Information.
