Search Company/Division Parameters

System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> System -> Company & Divisions -> Division Parameters -> SEARCH button -> Search Company/Division Parameters

The search utility can be used to locate and open an option from the tunable parameters that can be defined company wide in Company Parameters, and for specific divisions in the Division Parameters.

Search Phrase:
Leave the Search Phrase blank and click SEARCH to view a list of all the parameters, or enter several characters to narrow the search.

Search Results:
The resulting list includes the description, whether the parameter is a Company or a Division type setting, and the relevant section where the feature can be accessed.
The list can be resorted by any column in ascending or descending order, by clicking in the column heading.
Columns can also be dragged and dropped to reposition them as required.

To select and open a parameter from the list, double-click on the appropriate record, or highlight the record and click the SELECT button.

Because parameters can be selected for Company or for Division from this search window, if the selected parameter is not in the parameter type that is currently open, confirmation is required before the current parameters are closed, and the other parameter type is opened, providing the option to save or cancel any changes in the current type.
