Order Entry Menu -> Sales Order Invoice Details -> Sale of Rental -> Disposal Information

A reason code can be associated with the disposal or sale of rental equipment, at the time the equipment is sold on an invoice.

This window can be used to select the reason code to be associated with the disposal or sale of rental equipment, at the time the equipment is sold on an invoice.

Enter the reason code or select it from the drop-down list as setup in Disposal Reason Codes.

The reason code is posted to the Fixed Asset Tags for non-bulk equipment in Daily Close 2, and to the Allocate Bulk Disposal utility for bulk equipment.
The Disposal Reason is reported on the Disposal Transaction Report.
