Notification Times have been setup, this
screen can be used to define the specific Data Tags on the
equipment that should trigger the alarm emails to be sent the
service manager and to the site superintendents defined on the
Contract.
i.e. Oil pressure low, Fuel low, Running to hot, etc.
Default Notes to be included on the email can also be entered for each notification level, that can be used to explain what action is required for the equipment.
Use the following configuration utilities to structure your firm's alert process:
Notification Times - setup for notification codes to control when notifications get sent, and defaults for Data Tags
Data Tags - defines individual alarm codes retrieved by DPL with optional action notes to email, and the email retry and interval values
Notification Matrix - groups the Data Tags into categories or Levels that can be assigned to Service Managers and Site Superintendents as Notify Levels
Division Setup - setup divisional equipment Service Manager to receive alerts, with time offset for different time zones
When the Data Tags option is selected from the Configuration radio group, the following fields can be used to setup the alert trigger table that is used by the DPL monitoring the equipment:
Note: The system defined Data Tag "Unidentified" is a catch-all tag used if an alert is to be emailed to a Tag that does not match the Tags in the list. This Tag record cannot be deleted.
