Reports Menu -> Automatic Reporting -> Function INRF20 -> runs Region Reservation Fulfillment

The Regional Reservation Fulfillment is the process that enables a Reservation to be created over-booking a sales product, rental product, or a Group when there is no quantity available at the document location for the period of the reservation, but because there is quantity available at a location within that Branch/Division's Inventory Region, an Internal Branch Transfer can automatically be created to move the product to the reservation location.

A Rank can be assigned to a Location in the Regions table, to establish a priority for fulfillment transfers.
A Regional Reservation Days value before the reservation Date Out, can be set in the Divisional Inventory Parameters to determine if there is sufficient time to complete the transfer before the over-booking is allowed.
Refer to the Regional Reservation Processing in the Divisional Inventory Parameters for setup and configuration information on defining the relevant products, quantity maximums, and time allowance requirement.

Note: The Regional Reservation Processing to allow overbookings on the reservation to auto-transfer-in available quantity from stores in the Region, is useful if the Allow Overrides On Location Quantities For Reservations is not activated in the Company Security Parameters, and the Groups for the relevant products have the Check Availability flag set to Yes.

The Regional Reservation Fulfillment can be setup to be run automatically with the resulting report emailed to staff, and to automatically creating the Internal Branch Transfer, by setting up INRF20 for the region and email addresses in the Automatic Reporting.

The prompts to generate the report and to create the transfer transactions are:

REGION
To generate the report select the Inventory Region from the drop-down list.

CREATE TRANSFERS
Uncheck this box to print the report without generating any transfer transactions.
Even though the transfers will not be generated, the report will show the 'would-be' transfer numbers to reflect which transactions would be on the same transfers versus on a different transfer.

Check this box to create the Internal Branch Transfers required to fill the Reservations from quantity located at other locations within the region as determined by the Region table.

Note: Transfers are always automatically generated when INRF20 is run from Automatic Reporting.

Resulting Output:
The report is generated for a single Region, listing transactions for each Location within that Region.
The Regional Reservation Fulfillment includes a warning in the report title if the transfers were not actually created, and the 'would-be' transfer numbers are listed in the output detail for information purposes only to show how the products would be grouped on the transfers.

For each Location in the Region the report first lists any reservation details that could not be filled for that Location.
The details include the reservation#, date out on the reservation, the sequence number of the item on the reservation, product/Group#, description, quantity on the reservation and quantity available, and the Product Status Code such as codes flagged for "not available" or "transfer not allowed".
This includes any Serialized Sales parts as specific product unit selection cannot be automated.

Then the report lists the transfers that have been created for that Location as shipped "From" transfers and a separate list of transfers that are the shipped "To" transfers, with the Rank assigned to that location in the Regions table.
The transfer details include the transfer detail sequence #, with the product/Group#, description, quantity, reservation# and positioning sequence number of the item on the reservation.
The resulting Transfer Transactions can be reviewed in Internal Branch Transfer and processed from the Internal Transfer Console.
