Lease Information
The Lease finance option can be used on bulk or non-bulk rental
products to manually setup a Lease payment schedule for information
purposes.
No auto-payment capture or posting is involved.
Lease payments can be considered in the product costs, when
running Gross Margin Analysis Report.
The prompts are:

- LEASE PAYMENTS
- A window to view and update the payment schedule is provided as
follows:
- DATE
- Enter the date of the payment.
- AMOUNT
- Enter the amount of the payment for this date.
- Finished?
- If there are 12 payments, enter 12 different dates each with
the appropriate amount to be paid.
Click ACCEPT to accept and close the lease schedule window.
TERMS IN MONTHS
- Enter the number of months for the lease, if applicable. This
is an information field only.
TERM IN KILOMETERS
- Enter the number of kilometres for the lease, if applicable.
This is an information field only.
AMOUNT PER MONTH
- Enter the lease amount per month. This is an information field
only.
LEASE START DATE
- Enter the lease start date. This is an information field
only.
LEASING VENDOR
- If this rental product is leased from a supplier, enter the
Vendor number or search for it in the Vendor
Search window. Only a vendor flagged as a Leasing Vendor
in Vendor Information can be entered.
When rental equipment is linked to a Leasing Vendor a
Reminder to Contact Leasing Vendor warning
is triggered if the product is sold in Miscellaneous Invoices,
Rental Return, and in Bulk Disposals.
The Leasing Vendor is included in the spreadsheet output of
the following reports:
Leave this field blank if there is no associated leasing
vendor.

- Click OK to accept the information and to close the
window.
