When integration with QuickBooks, Xero or MYOB is configured in
Integrated Accounting, the SRM G/L accounts
must be matched to the QB/Xero/MYOB G/L accounts in order to link
the postings from the SRM application.
Each of the 4 third-party accounting packages uses a different
match method.
Refer to Integrated Accounting for
details.
Once the accounts are matched, this utility can be used to check for match errors.
This Chart Of Account Validation window appears after the
validation check is initiated from the VALIDATE
button on the Chart of Accounts screen in
SRM to confirm that the G/L Accounts in SRM match the G/L Accounts
in QuickBooks/Xero/MYOB.
If there is a discrepancy between the Chart of Accounts in SRM and
the Chart of Accounts in the external accounting application, an
error report is generated listing the accounts in SRM that do not
have corresponding accounts in QB/Xero/MYOB.
The error report lists the SRM Acct#, SRM Account Description, Type
of account and the error message or Unique Account ID.
