A listing of cities can be maintained with the appropriate tax
information.
This tax information is used for the default for the city if there
is a Ship To address, on a Contract, Invoice, Reservation, Quote,
etc.
Leave the City field blank and click the SEARCH button to view all cities, or to narrow down the search enter the first few characters of the city name to return only cities beginning with this sequence.
Search Results:
The resulting list can be resorted by any column in ascending or
descending order, by clicking in the column heading.
Columns can also be dragged and dropped to reposition them as
required
If your firm utilizes the standard two code tax system, Tax 1
and Tax 2 are displayed for each city, as setup in City Tax Codes.
If enhanced taxing has been activated highlight the city record and
click on the TAX DETAILS button to access the
Tax Exemptions information.
Refer to Tax Maintenance Overview for the STANDARD and for the ENHANCED rules determining which taxes apply.
Click the ADD button to add additional cities with the taxes, in this window.
To select a city from the displayed list, double-click on the appropriate record, or highlight the record and click the SELECT button.
