Bill of Materials Report
Inventory Control Menu -> Manufacturing Receiving -> BILL OF
MATERIALS RPT button -> Bill of Materials Report
This report lists the components used in the construction of new
sales inventory, as setup in Inventory Bill Of
Materials.
The component quantities required in the construction, unit cost,
extended cost, and quantities currently available by locations, is
printed.
Any BOM Codes are preceded by an asterisk (*) to distinguish them
from component parts.
The selection prompts to generate the report are:

- FROM PRODUCT#
- Leave this field blank to include all products or enter the
starting product number for the report or select a starting product
from the Inventory Search window.
- TO PRODUCT#
- Leave this field blank to include all products or enter the
ending product number or select it from the window.
FROM CLASS
- Leave this field blank to include all classes or enter the
starting Product Class in the range or select it from the Product Class Search window.
- TO CLASS
- Leave this field blank to include all classes or enter the
ending Product Class or select it from the window.
PRINT 1 B.O.M. PER PAGE
- Check this box to print each list of components in the Bill of
Materials on a new page.
Uncheck this box to not page the report individually by B.O.M.
SORT BY
- Select one of the sort options for the sequence to list the
manufactured products and also the components used to build those
products:
- Select Our Product# to list the products to be
manufactured and their components in product number sequence.
- Select Description to list the manufactured products and
their components alphabetically by description.
COST LOCATION
- This prompt appears only if Sales Item Average Cost By
Location processing has been activated in the Support Application Parameters.
Enter the location from which the components will be relieved or
select one from the drop-down list.
The component costs will reflect the average costs of this
location.
REPORT OPTIONS
- This value defaults to the operator preference as defined in
Operators.
Select one of the output options to Print a report or export
the data to Excel as outlined in Report Options.
Finished?
- Click the ACCEPT button to generate the output, or CANCEL to
abort.
