Equipment Specifications


System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Operations Tab -> Inventory -> Equipment Specifications

The Equipment Specifications can be maintained in the window in the "Inventory" parameters on the Operations tab of the Configure System Settings.
An operator must be assigned a Security Role that allows permission to the Operations - Equipment Specifications in order to access this table.

Equipment Specification codes are setup in this utility with a brief Description, and then the multiple detailed specification lines.
A window is provided to lookup existing specification records as outlined in Equipment Specifications Search.
Default Equipment Specifications are assigned to a Product Group in Groups.

Equipment Specifications can be viewed on the rental document in the window on the product Description field of the product detail.

Assigning the Equipment Specifications to the products:
The Equipment Specifications can be assigned to specific products using Update Equipment Specifications by Products or individually in Sales Inventory and Rental Inventory.
When assigning these Equipment Specification codes to products or groups, a window is provided to view the existing specification details.

Group Equipment Specifications can also be copied from the Group to products in that Group using Clone Group Information to Products.
